You have two choices here. Either [[pickpocket]] the key from Elwood or assassinate him. Version [[1.0.3]] expanded the available ways to handle this quest, letting you either persuade Elwood to leave the gambling house (25 skill required) or try to intimidate him to give up the keycard. The gambling house is a partially controlled zone, so you should be able to get away with the assassination if you manage to do it without anyone seeing you.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
If talking has failed and silent assassination is not possible, you can still resort to a cheesy tactic killing him with a couple of [[caltrops]], as throwing them in his walking path does not count as a hostile action. Mechanical damage from caltrops cannot deal a fatal blow but this rule doesn't apply to bio damage caused by burrower poison caltrops, so you can use those to finish him off.&lt;br /&gt;
