== Background ==
Benkrester is the son of the [[Serpentines]]' finest bonesmith. While his brothers went of to perform the transcendence rituals, he stayed and learned his father's craft. He worked with his father on a special set of bone and leather armor, but his father died before it was completed. He used his bones to finish it. With his father gone, and his brothers dead- as they failed to survive the Sormirbaeren rituals, he now acts as a guard for their graves.
