Water locusts are one of the biggest threats in the southeast corner of the map, due to their ability to overwhelm even the most brutal of attackers. Explorers trying to carve a path through the area should consider using less bulky, faster weapons such as SMGs and knives, or weapons which attack in an area, like grenades. An important note is that standing in the gases produced by the nests allows the eggs to hatch, which causes the [[Parasitic_Infestation|Parasitic Infestation]] debuff to increment.

Water Locust is a critter in Underrail: Expedition expansion.

Description

Water Locusts are eusocial bugs which were made by NFT to populate the marshy regions of the black sea. They are extremely agressive, attacking any player who strays too close to their nests. They have strong mandibles, and the unique ability to fire their young towards enemies, implanting them with eggs.
