Three strange pillars rise from the pool. They are decorated with glowing symbols that you are unfamiliar with and they seem to hum, though you are unsure whether they actually produce sound or if it's just all in your head.

In-game description

A strange monolith found inside a cave in Silent Isle. Should a weak-willed character try focusing on it, it will attack with psionic doppelgangers. Skilled mind controllers can learn Bilocation from it (requires 7 Will).

Similar pillars can also be found in the northern section Core City Sewers, accessible during Praetorian Security's questline.
