Nick Thompson is a former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Stations. Before the Protectorate's seizure of power in North Underrail he used to be a professor of political science at the University of Dis.
Kerry Oliver was among his old students, and became consul thanks to Thompson's recommendation.
