The Airburst Scope is a component for grenade launchers which primarily provides the unique ability for grenades to detonate above water tiles. Under normal circumstances the only way to harm a target in water with a grenade launcher is to hit a nearby ground tile, or make a targeted direct hit.
In addition the scope provides the weapon with +5% precision at the cost of increasing the weapon's close quarters penalty by 10%.
