Detritus is a guy found in the Institute of Tchort's courtyard, waiting for a chance to become a Tchortist. He was born and raised in Drop Zone, and lived the harsh life of the average zoner. A few years ago he lost his entire extended family in the Drop Zone plague, which he alone miraculously survived, something Detritus attributes to sheer luck.
Should you help him join the Institute you will get to meet him once more in Deep Caverns, although you might no longer recognize him.
