Objectives
Walkthrough
This Quest can be initiated immediatly after getting to the Expedition.
You can pickpocket (39 effective skill) a Comm Device (Black Sea) from a Technician (Expedition). He is the only NPC labeled as Technician. After you successfully pickpocket the Device you can bring it to Chief Briggs who instructs you to bring it to Marcus, who will take the device to inspect it. Some time later you will be called by Chief Briggs to the Arch Keep Evacuation Tunnels, who will tell you that the Technician was indeed a Pirate Spy. For saving Professor Oldfield, Chief will give you an Aegis Patroller as a reward. You will also be able to loot the corpses of pirates led by Cruzer who made unsuccessful attack and to go through otherwise unavailable evacuation tunnels to Lemurian Grand Archive and Port Crag.
This is the Counterpart Quest to Rescue the Professor.
