Background

Magnar is the chieftan of the Serpentines, both their ruler and their strongest warrior.

Player Interactions

Magnar is one of the major characters of the Serpentines that can be killed to end their raids on the Expedition camp. Magnar is extremely tough on his own and surrounded by a number of other warriors and psions, making the fight very difficult. Once killed, several rounds later, a cloud will appear above his body (killing him by shattering prevents this). Using The Juice allows the player to target the cloud, but untargeted attacks like pyrokinetic stream can affect it as well.

Spoilers

His cloud form is similar to the Void Creatures in Abyssal Station Zero. If you tell Six about having to kill Magnar twice, he will mention that the void-form of Magnar is not the same Magnar that you killed.

Magnar is a "boss" character, and on DOMINATING difficulty will appear with 400% of his regular health.
