Marcus is a sec-engineer working for Aegis Incorporated. He takes care of the expedition equipment and is also an electronics merchant. He uses an energy pistol in combat.
Background
As a teenager Marcus was a witness of Protectorate takeover of Dis. He later graduated at Dis University at weapons engineering and started working at TRC, an old Biocorp facility on designing auto-turret systems. After that he moved to working at Protectorate Dreadnought production facility, before finally joining Aegis three and a half years ago. He is happily married to a woman named Maria, a fellow graduate of Dis University.
Player interactions
- All interactions with Marcus (quests, trading, ...) will only unlock after completing Defend the island
- At the beginning of the Recover the A-RFID Chip quest, Marcus will provide you some armor and a NavCom Device to be able to communicate remotely with other members of the expedition.
- Marcus can exchange your Dollars for Charons, using same exchange rate as Fraser
- Marcus gives you your paycheck, i.e. you can collect money from him after each main quest
- 300 Charons for the quest Defend the island
- 350 Charons for the quest Recover the A-RFID Chip
- Total of 1200 Charons for the quest Improve camp defenses
