The Sørmirbæren Skærder are mutated warriors of the Sørmirbæren tribe.

Description

Resembling human/snake hybrids, the Skærder, or "Transcended", are warriors who partook in rituals designed to make them more like serpents as well as bolstering their bodies.

Tougher and stronger than their Krigsfar brothers and possessing more powerful weapons, the Skærder battle alongside their unmutated kin as shock troopers.

They fight mostly in the same way that Krigsfar melee fighters do, but they hit much harder, have more health, and have high Mechanical resistance thanks to their bone armor and reptilian scales. Due to this, Frag Grenades, Frag Mines, and JHP ammunition aren't as effective against them. They also have the Thick Skull and Last Stand feats and are immune to poison. Some Skærder have more prominent mutations that allow them to perform special attacks such as devastating acid blasts.
