Core City middle level is a major vertical section of Core City.

Description

The middle level of Core City is between Upper and Lower Underrail. Most of the city's activities including the popular blood sports Arena and Gauntlet, the merchant district and Hardcore City Bar are on this level.

Elevator

• The elevator leads to the different floors of Core City: Docks, Lower level, Middle level, Upper level and Upper Metro Station
• The middle barrel contains a Biocorp Technology Catalog Fragment oddity, 1 XP
• The JKK Slugger and JKK Sentinel each carry a JKK Pen oddity, 3 XP

Merchant district south

• The JKK Slugger carries a JKK Pen oddity, 3 XP
• The Coretech Sniper and Coretech Sentry carry a Coretech Pamphlet oddity, 3 XP
• The southern locker in Mykola's shop requires 70 Lockpicking
• Electronic shop:
  • Halim sells electronic goods
  • The locker upstairs requires 70 Lockpicking
  • The box upstairs requires 90 Hacking

Merchant district / Hardcore city bar ground floor

• This area has a medical (Heidi), food (Gene), weapon (Oskar) and general (Derica) store
• It also has a looter selling random loot, Al Fabet
• The Praetorian Bomber, Praetorian Sniper and Praetorian Enforcer each carry a Praetorian Security Insignia oddity, 3 XP
• The barrel near the waiting chairs in the central south area contains a Core City Plans oddity, 1 XP
• The box in the pharmacy shop requires 50 Hacking
• A ladder in the NE part leads to the basement, where Rash can be found
• Outside the Hardcore city bar, Jack Quicksilver. If you have completed the quest Find Abram in Core City, he will have 3 new assignments for you:
  • Everard's assignment (go to the Foundry)

  • Meet Ohad Xander
• The western exit leads to the Arena ticket booths
• The southern exit leads to the Merchant district south area
• The northern exit leads to the Bar backdoor, edge of drop zone area

Hardcore city bar , floor 2

• The shelves next to the stairs leading up contain a Core City Plans oddity, 1 XP
• Ethan carries a Strange Medallion (can't pickpocket at 75 skill^Verify )
• Abram is waiting for you during the quest Find Abram in Core City and will send you to Jack Quicksilver downstairs
• The northern area:
  • Is locked (need to access the area from the backdoor outside the bar)
  • It can first be accessed from outside the bar from a backdoor north of the merchant district, using a key provided by Gene if you're on the right quest.
  • It has a ladder leading to the 3rd floor

Hardcore city bar , floor 3

• NW room:
  • Bob Smith lives here and will become aggressive if he sees you in his room.
  • He carries a Port Zenith Security Pass - Bob Smith and some armor that can be useful for the quest Rob Protectorate warehouse
• W room:
  • Requires 50 Lockpicking to open.
  • A scavenger lives there and will become aggressive if he sees you in his room. He carries Hardcore City Bar Room 3 Key, the room key
• SW room:
  • Requires 75 Lockpicking to open.
  • A thug lives there and will become aggressive if he sees you in his room. He carries Hardcore City Bar Room 2 Key, the room key
• SE room:
  • requires 75 Lockpicking to open.
  • 2 punks live there and will become aggressive if he sees you in his room. One of them carries Hardcore City Bar Room 1 Key, the room key
• The northern area:
  • Can be accessed from a ladder on the second floor
  • Has shelves containing a Rat Head Amulet oddity, 1 XP
  • Has a locker containing Blueprint: Bullhead
  • Has Sneaky and Gorsky who provide the next set of quests (Rob Protectorate warehouse and Recover tunneler) on the main questline

Bar backdoor, edge of drop zone

• Has an aggressive stealthy Mugger near the tent to the east. He carries a Train Log oddity, 1 XP
• Jon the Beautiful can be seen in this area
• The W door to the bar's backdoor is locked. It can be opened with Hardcore City Bar backdoor key (Core City)

Edge of drop zone, mercenary base entrance

• The southern exit leads to the Bar backdoor, edge of drop zone area
• The western exit leads to the Gauntlet entrance
